Hi, my name is Micha van den Bergh, 40 years old and together with Hadewij we are real estate agents in Amsterdam.
My goal is to be your real estate agent with the best conditions, opening hours and fixed fair rates.
Ever since I was a child, I’d longed for the big city. The hustle and bustle, the grandeur, the diversity, and the beautiful buildings all drew me in. I’d often considered skipping high school to go to Amsterdam on my own for a day, but ultimately never did.
I’ve lived in this wonderful city for over 20 years now. I still count myself lucky every day to live here. I still enjoy every time I ride my bike and love looking at city life and the beautiful buildings, streets, and parks.
I began my career in the Amsterdam hospitality industry. I spent a significant portion of my time working in one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful cafes, Café Luxembourg on ‘t Spui. There, I learned the tricks of the trade and experienced the joy of interacting with people every day.
The real estate profession has always appealed to me, and after a rewarding career in the hospitality industry, I decided to become one. I immediately took the plunge and joined a partnership. This was the perfect “school” to learn the trade and entrepreneurship.
After many years as an entrepreneur in the partnership, I felt that as a “consumer,” you never knew exactly what a real estate agent did for you during the sale of your home. There was also always secrecy about the commission.
My goal was to be completely transparent and work with fixed fees for the sale, purchase, or rental of your property. This way, you know exactly what to expect. Every assignment is a new challenge for me, which I strive to execute to the best of my ability. You’ll never feel like I’m running a production line. My passion is to make you happy. How do I do that? By listening carefully to your needs, adapting accordingly, and doing my utmost for you.
